Philip Webb Centenary events
Throughout 2015 we will mark the centenary of the death of the SPAB’s co-founder Philip Webb with a series of members-only events and activities. Philip Speakman Webb is often referred to as the father of Arts & Crafts architecture. All our events will shine a spotlight on the life and work of Webb.

V&A Philip Webb Centenary events
The Philip Webb display at the V&A runs 7 November 2015 – Sun 1 May 2016 in Gallery 128a. Drawing on the V&A and RIBA’s collection of designs and archives, this free display brings together his diverse projects and roles as architect and designer. The display will also include first place schemes for the SPAB’s Philip Webb Award. More information on the V&A website.
National Trust Philip Webb Centenary events
The National Trust are also celebrating Webb’s Centenary with a series of events, exhibitions and lectures. There is more information on the National Trust website.
